Cornstarch and water: Observing a solid changing into a liquid is always entertaining for children! Food plate Rainbow in a bottle: teaching density (through layering of liquids) is a great concept to teach in a creative way!
Sometimes when we come back from school we like to relax and read in the house that we have built!
The children in our Before & After School Care created a picture using candles (no fire was involved!), which no one could see until water colours were painted over top!
We combined science and art to create special paints using primary colours in the form of food colouring, milk powder and water. Using their imagination, the children combined the colours in different ways to create unique patterns on the canvas!
These friends created an activity of helping one another up after each one took turns ‘falling down.’ A good friend always lifts you up!
