Program fees
– AM 4 hour program 3 Days a week M/W/F $ 340/month
– AM 4 hour program 2 Days a week T/TH $310/month
– Before and After school program (hours of care 7:00am – 6:00pm Monday – Friday) Available to Smiling Creek Elementary students only $ 290/month for Kindergarten and $375/month for Grade 1-5
To secure your registration we require an $80 registration fee (non refundable) upon registration approval. Prior to the first day of preschool we require 10 postdated cheques dated the 1st of each month (September – June)
Any NSF cheques will be charged a fee of $25. If payment is not received, the
preschool reserves the right to terminate enrollment.
All forms required have to be submitted to the preschool prior to the first day of attending or before the first class. Without all documentation in place your child canʼt attend the preschool.
Preschool Morning Program : 9:00 am – 12:00 pm
9:15 – 9:30 morning circle-everyone welcome
9:30 – 10:30 Free Play
Open snack is provided to children during this time
Art experience, science, blocks, dress up, puzzles,
sensorial experiences (sand, beans, rice,
paper, flowers etc.), water, Montessori practical life
10:30 – 10:35 Clean up
10:35 – 10:55 Music Circle
10:55 – 12:00 Outdoor play: We will use a
beautiful park on Millard street,
but we will teach children to love and respect
nature by taking them on nature walks in trails.
12:00 – 12:15 Lunch
12:15-1:15 Games Time: This is structured time when we play different educational games, addressing all important areas of children’s development, while having fun.
Our morning class runs from 9:15am to 1:15pm and lunch is eaten at school, followed by activities and games prior to pick up!
Before & After School Care
Our Before & After School Care program is now OPEN. The program serves those who are going to be attending the new Smiling Creek Elementary ONLY.
The hours of care are 7:00am – 6:00pm, Monday – Friday, excluding all school closures/statutory holidays.
